Volunteering at Fellowship Farm

There are many opportunities to volunteer at Fellowship Farm. You can volunteer as an individual, or bring a group from your company, religious or civic organization to a Fellowship Farm Work Day. We welcome the opportunity to explore your interests. Here are some of the many possibilities.

  • Gardening/Landscaping

Have you moved out of your home and miss your garden? Volunteer gardeners keep Fellowship Farm looking beautiful. We need your help, so join our growing crew of people who love to work outdoors to make our beautiful spot even more beautiful.

  • Painting

A fresh coat of paint can make us sparkle? If you've got the will, we've got the wall.

  • Special Events Fundraising

We have ideas for special events in the hopper, which require support beyond the capacity of current administrative staff. Let us know if you've got experience or leadership skills in this area.

  • Oral History

Fellowship Farm has an incredibly rich history - including its role in the Civil Rights movement. There are many still living pioneers who should be interviewed and videotaped. This is an ideal intergenerational project for your youth group.

  • Teach a Skill

Teach First Aid or a particular craft project at Fellowship Farm summer camp.

  • Profile of a Volunteer:

Val Udell loves to prune trees and shrubs. Val finds it rewarding to identify areas that need beautifying and work on them one at a time. "Each time I volunteer I leave with the feeling that I've contributed to others' enjoyment of their time at Fellowship Farm."
